Laboratory of Construction & Management in Hydroelectric Engineering, a laboratory at university level of CTGU, is founded on the basis of advantages related to hydroelectric engineering construction and management in master specialties or key disciplines such as Conservancy & Hydroelectric Engineering, Hydraulic Structural Engineering, Geo-technical Engineering, Mechanical Design and Theory, Mechanical Manufacture and Automation, Management Science and Engineering, Technological Economics and Management.

At present, there are 36 researchers work in the experimentation center, including 30 fixed researchers. Among the fixed researchers, there are 22 with a high title of technical post and 6 with a intermediate title of technical post; 3 tutors of doctorate students, 19 tutors of graduate students.
