In recent years, he has finished several special scientific research projects of the Three Gorges Projects and National Key Scientific and Technological Projects, 2 National Natural Science Foundation Programs, and more than 10 research projects of State Grid Corporation, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Water Resources; his overall research achievements have reached international advanced level, and some of the achievements have reached international leading level; he has won the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress issued by Ministry of Construction and Top Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress issued by Hubei Provincial Government, and some other ministerial or provincial prizes; he has published more than 60 scientific papers and 4 monographs.
