Apply

Prospective students may apply by post or e-mail, or even by phone, to CTGU Department of International Relations (DIR) in order to be informed of enrollment procedures. Also, the applicant shall provide the following documents by mail:

• "Application Form for Overseas Students Wishing to Study in CTGU",
• "Report of Health Check-up",
• photocopies of Diplomas or Certificates, and Official Grade Records,
• financial guarantees,
• recommendation letters by two professors (for postgraduate applicants)

The DIR will confirm reception of these documents and inform the applicant whether the application is complete. The DIR will airmail to the applicant the admission letter and the JW202 form for entry visa authorized by the Chinese government.

After he is accepted by CTGU, the applicant can go to the nearest Embassy of the People's Republic of China or a general consular section to handle the relevant relocation procedures. The required documents are:

• the "Admission Letter for Overseas Student Wishing to Study in CTGU",
• the "Form of Entry Visa for Overseas Students" (JW202 form), and
• the "Report for Health Check-up".

Study Costs (RMB Yuan/person):

(1) Arts:
a. Bachelor¡¯s Degree (including junior college studies and general advancing studies): 14,000 ¡« 26,000 /academic year
b. Master¡¯s Degree (including senior general advancing studies): 18,000 ¡« 30,000 /academic year
c. Doctor¡¯s Degree (including researchers): 22,000 ¡« 34,000 /academic year
d.Short-term studies: About 1 month: 3,000 ¡« 4,800; About 3 months: 8,000 ¡« 10,000 
(2) Natural Sciences & Engineering:
10£¥¡«30£¥ higher than the corresponding tuition of Arts
(3) Medical Science, Fine Arts, Physical Education:
50£¥¡«100£¥ higher than the corresponding tuition of Arts
(4) English Medium Clinical Medicine:
Bachelor¡¯s Degree: 40,000 /academic year

Accommodation and Costs:
Well-equipped room with access to cable TV, telephone, and Internet, and separate bathroom with cold and hot water, etc. 
There are shops, internet caf¨¦, caf¨¦ bar, etc, near the apartment. 

Standard Room: RMB 4,000 yuan/person/academic year (two students in one room) 

Food:
The students afford their own food. It costs about 400-700 yuan/month eating in the university canteen.
